Miriam took to the streets of Paris during Fashion Week for Première Classe in the Jardin des Tuileries. This year, Miriam is keeping it simple in a black leather skirt from The Row, her favorite Maison Martin Margiela black booties, and an Alberta Ferretti navy full skirt coat. Flirty tops and lacy tights help switch up the look and accents of clear, navy and black jewelry make it feel fresh.

We love a good Sunday afternoon movie. Nothing too serious, something with fabulous costumes and gorgeous scenery…a good mystery is always a plus. We hit the jackpot with this Agatha Christie/Hercule Poirot book-turned-movie, Evil Under the Sun. Filmed on the glamorous Mediterranean island of Majorca, the costumes were amazing. Of course a luxury beach resort means over-the-top swimsuits with matching hats and head-wraps! Then the jewelry— five cuffs on one arm! At the beach!! Diana Rigg’s character, Arlena Marshall’s accessories were to die for (literally!). The movie also stars a young Jane Birkin. We definitely recommend watching if you are headed on your own resort vacation. Here’s some shopping suggestions to complete your look!

Check out our latest polyvore set where we are jetsetting off to the French Riviera for the Cannes Film Festival. We’re stepping out in flowing caftans in orange and turquoise and accessorizing with clear jewelry and sunnies! Check out our newest nugget earrings in clear and transparent hot pink!

Miriam Salat continues her world tour with a stop in Hong Kong’s Lane Crawford. Jewelry pictured here is at the IFC Center. Miriam Salat is also stocked at Lane Crawford’s Pacific Place, Times Square and Canton Road locations. One of Miriam’s favorite destinations is Paris, but how do you travel light and look effortlessly chic?
The answer is to have some go-to designers that will make packing a breeze. Miriam’s Philosphy di Alberta Ferretti black wool coat will be perfect over slim pants for day and dresses at night. Next, these great Moschino Cheap & Chic shoes that have the perfect heel height for walking all day but can easily transition into evening with their studs and grommets. And of course you’ll need lots of jewelry. A selection of black, clear, champagne and smokey topaz will be sure to match anything. Bringing multiple pieces in the same color story will allow you to mix and match and come up with new looks every day! C’est magnifique!

We’ve got a serious case of the Winter Blues up here in NYC so it’s time to plan a trip to one of our favorite US spots, Palm Beach, Florida. Our hotel of choice is none other than The Breakers. Besides the breathtaking scenery, spa, golf courses and award-winning restaurants, they also have great shops including Mix, a new boutique carrying modern jewelry and accessories, including Miriam Salat.
