Coney Island Spring Inspiration

Spring 2013 takes Miriam back to her birthplace, the neighborhood of Coney Island in Brooklyn, New York. From the Wonder Wheel to the Cyclone, to Ruby’s and Nathan’s, Coney Island is full of an unparalleled history close to our hearts.

Inspired by her childhood street names and landmarks of this ocean-front area we have Neptune bangles, Shell rings, and showpiece Starfish cuff.

Summer-approved colors like Ocean (a swirling seafoam green) to Surf (a milky aqua) meld with Mother of Pearl, Gray and peachy-pink oranges called Sunset and Salmon. Plus, we add a touch of rose gold to warm it up for summertime!

Fall 2012 Inspiration

Miriam lets us in on her inspiration for the Fall 2012 Collection comprised of rich navy and emerald colored resin. Right on trend with this season’s green-theme!

Inspiration: Salvador Ring

Inspiration strikes at any moment! In the case of our Salvador ring, it was during a trip to the aforementioned city in the Northeastern state of Bahia, Brazil.  On the edge of the Todos os Santos Bay, in Cayru Plaza sits the Elevador Lacerda, one of the largest passenger elevators in the world! It rises 236 feet and transports over 50,000 people per day! Constructed in  1868 next to the Modelo Market, it connects the Cidade Baixa (Lower City) with the Cidade Alta (Upper City). The shape of the ring and cubic zirconia details are inspired by the windows in the passageway!

Spotlight: Geode Earrings

We are obsessed with our new Geode Diamond earrings! Inspired by a trip to Iceland, these over-sized statement earrings mimic the textures of the diverse landscape from glacial rivers to the dramatic volcanic rocks.   Just like the Nordic country’s terrain, these earrings are part smooth and part faceted black resin, dotted with bezel set white cubic zirconias. Sterling silver posts are embellished with more sparkling CZ’s.
