It seems like olive green has been a wardrobe staple for us this past fall and winter, but don’t pack those fatigues away just yet, olive is here to stay! Keep it in the rotation for spring, mixing it up with chartreuse or magenta. For a fresh update, add some olive green jewelry to really make your outfit pop.

One of my favorite things to do is travel. I love venturing to interesting, new places to experience different cultures. Always up for an adventure, I usually prefer hiking, camping and rock climbing over laying on the beach. So much of my design inspiration comes from traveling the globe. Here’s where I’m hoping to land in 2011!
1. Salar de Uyuni, Bolivia- Exploring the world’s largest salt flats in Bolivia is on the top of my list. I look forward to camping the flats, hiking on remnants of ancient volcanoes, bathing in hot springs and spying on some pink flamingos.
2. Paro, Bhutan- Hoping to head to the Himalayas to visit exclusive Bhutan and see the Taktsang Monastery, a sacred Buddhist temple dating back to the 8th century BC.
3. Willemstad, Curaçao- Can’t wait to visit this Dutch island just off the coast of Venezuela. Top-notch scuba diving and a landscape dotted with vibrant architecture will give me plenty of inspiration for my collection.
4. Reykjavík, Iceland- What could be better than hot springs, whale watching, horse back riding and exploring the glacial countryside of beautiful Iceland?
5. Izmir, Turkey- I dream of walking through the ancient ruins in Ephesus and then rejuvenating myself in the Hamam (Turkish Bath House).
