la_boca

In our newest series, we will take you around to the coolest cities around the world. For this post, we will take you to La Boca in Buenos Aires, Argentina.

They say that a picture is worth a thousand words, but in this case it’s the colors that are saying it all. Sometimes, when looking for some color inspiration, we travel to faraway lands in our minds... this time our imagination landed in Buenos Aires and took us straight to La Boca. It is a neighborhood famous for two attractions - the fútbol stadium, ‘La Bombonera,’ and Caminito, the colorful artists’ street by the water. Clearly you know which one attracted us more, so click through to our Pinterest board and see what colorful pieces came out of this imaginary trip...

It’s heaven for both beach lovers and hikers with its vast stretches of shorelines and breathtaking cliffs. With French, Italian and Greek influences there’s a rich history and culture to engage your mind and of course an amazing cuisine for your taste buds. Dream away!

Vibrant colorful artisanal markets, African drum beats, and flavorful tastes compliment white sandy beaches in charming little fishing villages. The busy capital, Dakar, composed of street hustle, elegant architecture and glittering nightlife is a capsule of the country's culture. We really want to see that incredible pink Lake Retba,Lac Rose. Yes, it really is pink...or so we heard. Dream away...

Culture: The National Gallery of Art WDC
Diaghilev and the Ballets Russes, 1909–1929: When Art Danced with Music This exhibition seems like a great reason to take a quick trip to Washington DC this summer. The Ballets Russes—the most innovative dance company of the 20th century, founded by Russian impresario Serge Diaghilev in Paris in 1909, pushed the limits through innovative collaborations with artists, dancers, fashion designers, choreographers and composers took the performing arts to new levels. After thrilling crowds with its powerful combination of Russian, Western and modern choreography, music and design, the company is now showcasing over 130 original costumes, set designs, paintings, sculptures, prints and drawings, photographs and posters, and film clips in a theatrical multimedia installation.
